How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)

If you have access to your account, you can permanently delete your account directly inside the app in seconds: Open Settings → scroll to Account Actions → tap Delete Account Permanently → confirm your decision. Your profile, photos, and match requests will be immediately purged and anonymized.

Option 2: Email Request Fallback

If you cannot access your account, email privacy@thecollegedate.com or info@thecollegedate.com from the email address registered to your account with the subject line: Delete My The College Date Account. Include your profile name and university so our safety team can verify and fulfill your request.

What We Delete

After verification, we aim to delete or anonymize your profile, account-linked profile data, uploaded media where technically available, and app data no longer required for safety, legal, fraud-prevention, payment, or operational reasons.

What May Be Retained

Some records may be retained where required for legal compliance, safety investigations, payment records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or platform integrity. Payment providers may also retain records according to their own policies.

Timing

We aim to review deletion requests within a reasonable time after verification. Complex safety, legal, or payment-related cases may take longer.
